Narwal Flow Robot Vacuum & Mop

There are two versions of Narwal Flow available:
Standalone Version (Water Tank Dock): Features a base station equipped with clean and dirty water tanks. It requires manual water refill and drainage and does not support the automatic water hookup system.
Plumbed-in Version (Automatic Water Hookup Dock): Features a compact base station designed exclusively for automatic refilling and draining. Please ensure your home installation environment meets the necessary plumbing and space requirements before purchase.

Environment: Choose a dry, relatively enclosed indoor location.
Space: Ensure sufficient space clearance around the base station according to the installation manual.
Water Source: Must use municipal tap water (do not use reclaimed, softened, or gray water).
Water Pressure: Required water pressure must be at least 0.14 MPa.
Temperature Range: Operating ambient temperature should be between 5°C and 40°C (41°F–104°F).
Plumbing Connection: Install a 1/2-inch outer thread angle valve with a copper core dedicated to cold water.
Drainage: Use a 4-inch or 5-inch drain pipe or connect directly to a washing machine drain. Maximum vertical height: 80 cm (31.5 in); maximum horizontal length: 6 meters (19.7 ft).

Power Supply: A grounded electrical outlet must be located within 1.5 meters (5 ft) of the base station.

Narwal Flow features the innovative Flow Wash system. Compared to traditional mop pads, it provides several key advantages:
Continuous Self-Cleaning Track: The FlowWash track continuously cycles dirty pad sections away in real-time, keeping the active cleaning surface clean throughout the session.
Dual-Integrated Water System: 16 precision nozzles continuously spray fresh water across the mop track for even coverage, ensuring thorough cleaning without water spots.
Constant-Pressure Scraper & Extraction: A constant-pressure scraper removes remaining dirt, while a high-pressure air pump instantly vacuums wastewater into the dirty water tank.
Enhanced Downward Pressure: Downward pressure is increased to a constant 12 N, providing stronger stain removal while preventing pad slipping.
Narwal Flow can cross thresholds up to 4 cm. How is this achieved?
The maximum 4 cm climbing capability applies to double-layered/stepped thresholds. For single thresholds, the maximum crossing height is 30 mm (3 cm).
Multiple/Stepped Thresholds: Each individual step must be under 30 mm (3 cm) in height, and the total step width must exceed 250 mm (25 cm) to prevent the robot from getting stuck or tipping over.
Single Thresholds (3–4 cm): We recommend using a threshold ramp (higher than 1.5 cm) as assistance. With the ramp installed, the overall width of the threshold (including the ramp) should ideally exceed 25 cm.
Note: Actual performance may vary slightly depending on floor texture, material, and environment.

Narwal Flow has a maximum threshold height limit of 4 cm. If a threshold exceeds this height, the robot cannot cross it. To prevent operational errors or stuck incidents, please mark the area as a No-Go Zone in the app.

Narwal Flow features a Dynamic Track Extension System. When cleaning along edges and corners, the mop track extends outward while maintaining a constant 12 N downward pressure to maximize edge coverage.

It also features an upgraded Tangle-Free Side Brush with a flexible V-shaped design combining long and short bristles:

When cleaning corners, the side brush reverses its rotation direction to extend reach and sweep out debris.

The anti-tangling structure utilizes directional airflow to shed hair and prevent tangles.

When cleaning around obstacles like table legs, Narwal Flow automatically adapts its route and cleaning strategy based on real-time spatial conditions.

Narwal Flow incorporates carpet-friendly technology to deep clean carpets without damaging them:
Ultrasonic Sensors: Accurately distinguishes carpets from hard floors or tile joints.
Auto Mop Lifting: Automatically lifts the mop track by 12 mm when detecting carpets to avoid wetting or dirtying the carpet.
Suction Boost: Automatically increases suction power for deep carpet cleaning while keeping the mop module elevated.
Important Usage Notes:
In default settings, the robot avoids carpets to prevent accidental moisture transfer. To enable carpet cleaning, turn on Carpet Mode in the app: Device Homepage > Map > Edit Map > Carpet > Set Carpet Cleaning.
Recommended for low-to-medium pile carpets with a thickness under 20 mm and pile height ≤ 0.7 cm. Thick, shaggy, or rubber-backed mats may not be correctly recognized.
During carpet cleaning, the robot increases suction and reduces driving speed to remove deep-seated dirt, which may slightly increase total cleaning time.

In most cases, no visible water residue is left on the floor.

If you notice a few stray water drops, this may occur due to sudden movements when the robot exits the base station or crosses thresholds; a minimal amount of residual moisture is normal. However, if significant standing water remains, please record a video of the operation and contact customer support with your robot's Serial Number (SN).

Why is one side of the side brush longer than the other?
Narwal Flow uses an upgraded side brush design where the right side brush features a specialized longer structure. This extended length allows it to reach directly into tight corners and along wall edges for improved cleaning efficiency. The brush is designed with fixed long bristles rather than a mechanical extending arm, making it less prone to mechanical wear or hardware failure.

Standalone Version (Water Tank Dock): Yes. The base station features a multi-function button:

Single Press: Start / Pause / Resume task

Double Click: Start / Cancel mop cleaning

Press and hold for 2 seconds: End current task

Press and hold for 5 seconds: Enter / Exit network pairing mode

Plumbed-in Version (Automatic Water Hookup Dock): No. The compact dock does not feature physical control buttons. Please control operations via the Narwal Freo App or the buttons located on the robot itself.

Standalone Version (Water Tank Dock): Detergent is added manually into the clean water tank during refills.

200 ml Bottle: Add 1–3 bottle caps depending on floor soil level.

930 ml Bottle: Add 1 bottle cap.

Plumbed-in Version (Automatic Water Hookup Dock): Supports auto-dispensing. Fill the internal detergent cartridge manually during initial setup, and the base station will automatically dose the correct amount. You will receive an app notification when a refill is needed.

Note: Do not exceed recommended detergent amounts or use third-party cleaning solutions, as excessive foam may block internal water lines. Water-only cleaning is sufficient for light daily maintenance.

Yes. Narwal Flow is compatible with both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi networks, allowing seamless integration with modern dual-band home routers.
